Let me explain a better way and dispel some of this at the same TIME (pun intended to keep this lighthearted)
Time is a constant. It cannot be a dimension, as it only travels in 1 direction at a constant pace, thus it cannot be a vector. You cannot change this FACT of the world around you.
You cannot move forward or backwards. There is only NOW, there is no future, nor past, to move TO.
The past is a memory or perspective, that has been written and cannot be changed no matter how much those in power TRY. A lie does not make it real. It was one way. All else is a perspective.
The future is not yet written, it is perspective as well, based on prediction or planning or guessing or other non-constant influences. Even the speed of light has been PROVEN to change speed.
Time does not. The "proof" fails within the margin of error, thus is not proof.
No matter your perception of time, now exists as a constant in one direction.

You can only ACCEPT it, and evolve further theories with this rule of the universe, thus helping to evolve our species. and hopefully others.
Denying reality makes for good science-fiction, or illusions (thus attempts at control), and our species seems particularly adept at this, but Truth always prevails.
This may be why many who believe in science do not believe in God (or any gods or spirit world), and yet Einstein saw God everywhere in the Universe he looked.
Einstein possessed a great imagination and encouraged the same in others, as do I. Used properly, your imagination can be a great tool to understand and learn about the world around you. A very simple example that all should be able to comprehend lies in a fictional movie, which can still teach us about ourselves, the world around us, and inspire MANY different things, from most emotions to future technology.

Is this a side effect of free will, or it's greatest strength?
You get to decide. You're welcome, not for giving you free will, but for reminding you that you have the ability to exercise this inalienable right.

Further, Einstein expected his theories to be disproven (Most or All?), as do I. But I would like to add the question, "WHAT is taking so long?"
Remember the story about Einstein being confronted with many scientists trying to discredit his science, and him replying "why would you need so many, when if I am wrong, it takes only one?"
Peace and Goodwill on Earth
